Expat Housing Network is a housing consultancy agency that advises clients in the various processes that are part of securing properties for rent or for sale. In these processes EHN will request and store data of the clients it represents and in some cases third parties that are part of an agreement. In this privacy statement we will explain how we will be treating your data. Please note that in this document ‘EHN’ stands for ‘Expat Housing Network’.

You can request several different services from EHN. Below we have defined the services:

EHN takes your privacy very seriously and will treat your data with the utmost care and according to regulations. EHN has spent and will spend a great amount of effort into making sure that your data is protected, that no unauthorised access is granted to your data or that your data can be edited or removed without your permission. Would you like to know what kind of data we are saving from you, please send us a letter or email with the request. Questions or filing a complaint

EHN will save your data no longer then necessary. We will store most of your data up to a year. Some information we store for a longer period of time due to legislation.

2. You've asked us the check your lease contract

  1. Data & Information that is necessary to secure a property from a third party (ID, address details, Work Contract, Employer Statement, Pay slips, reference letter, Mortgage details)
  • Allowed to share with: real estate agent, Notary  
  • Retention Period: 1 year

  • Allowed to share with: No one
  • Retention Period: 5 years

Other: When you are not our client, but have rented out or sold your property to our client

In some cases we are by law required to save personal data. This only applies when we have come to an agreement for rent or purchase. We will process the following data.
